My name is Kelly Davis and I am from Albany, Ga. I moved to Valdosta in 2006 to start college at Valdosta State University. I was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, VSU Health and PE Club, and intramural teams. I began my teaching career at Sallas Mahone. Next, I worked at Valdosta Middle teaching and coaching softball, basketball, and track. Now, I have made my way to VHS and coach cheer. I will be teaching Health and Personal Fitness. During Personal Fitness you will perform many activities such as kickboxing, yoga, fitness, fitness testing, dance, speed ball, cooperative games, and many more! During health students will cover several topics that involve their physical, mental, and social health. These topics include nutrition, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs, injury prevention, at risk behaviors (abstinence education), and mental and emotional health. Students will dress out and participate daily in personal fitness. I look forward to a great year! Go Cats!
