COLLEGE ADMISSIONS TESTING
Most of our students take the SAT or ACT during the second half of their junior year. Yet, did you know there are other types of admissions tests? Many four year colleges and most two year colleges are now accepting the Accuplacer. There is even a military assessment test. Yes, the type of college admissions test you may need or even when you should take it can vary depending on your college or degree of choice.

The Georgia Milestones Assessment System (Georgia Milestones) is a comprehensive summative assessment program spanning grades 3 through high school.
Georgia Milestones measures how well students have learned the knowledge and skills outlined in the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Students at the high school level will take an end-of-course assessment in the following ten courses:
- English Language Arts
- Ninth Grade Literature and Composition
- American Literature and Composition
- Algebra I or Coordinate Algebra
- Geometry or Analytic Geometry
- Physical Science
- Social Studies
- United States History
- Economics/Business/Free Enterprise
