Coach E.A. Wilcox is a Physical Education teacher at Valdosta High School that teaches Team Sports and Weight Training. Coach Wilcox enters his 18th year as an educator. He received his undergraduate from Valdosta State University in Broad-Field Social Science in 2000. He began his teaching career in the fall of 2001, in his hometown of Bradenton, Florida, teaching 8th grade U.S. History at Johnson Middle School and one year at P.A.L Academy Charter School. After those two years, Coach Wilcox, returned to Georgia in 2003, where he taught Social Studies at Kendrick High School in Columbus and coached Football, Basketball and Baseball. In the fall of 2007, he returned to Valdosta accepting a position as a social studies educator and coached girls junior varsity and boys junior varsity. In the fall of 2009, Coach accepted the head girls basketball position.
While teaching at Valdosta High he received his Master's in Educational Leadership in 2009 from Troy University. Coach Wilcox is married to Tabitha, and together they have six children Shenna, Armani, Jeremy, Nigel, Tyler, and Jalen.
